Callings

Tony and I have been called to be nursery leaders at church. This is Tony's first calling and my second. I am also on the enrichment committee for Relief Society. We are very excited. Tony has also been given his first person to home teach, it just happens to be my friend Kim. Tony is very close to receiving his Melchizedek Priesthood and we are working with the Branch President right now to try and get Temple recommends so that we can receive our endowments and be sealed together before the baby is born. We are very excited about everything that is happening in our lives and are very happy to be extending our family with a new baby.

  1. I am sooo excited for you guys and also very very proud of both of you. Heather, you have become such a wonderful wife for Tony and am very excited about what your future holds. I told Tony that when he finds out when he's gonna get the Melchizedek Priesthood that I wanted to be there for that. I love you both very much and can't wait for the day when you guys go to the temple!

  2. Wow, heavy stuff! I am at a loss for words to express how I feel about you two getting to the temple, I totally got choked up and teary-eyed when Paul read aloud to me your news about callings, and Tony getting higher with his priesthood!~ That will be such a special, beautiful and wonderful thing to witness your being sealed in the Temple, and yes, we WILL be there! Nothing could keep us away, (unless you say don't come!) I'll drive, hitchike, "ride the rails" on trains, anything to get to be there!

Now, about your callings.....Tony, I am so proud of you! Your first calling, and first Home Teaching Family! You will bless the lives of so many people! Also, about the Nursery thing....you are either very brave, or very crazy! Just kidding, I know the Lord will bless you to make you ready and able to teach and handle those kids. It will definately teach Tony patience with babies crying ASAP, as most kids at our nursery cry for the first 5-15 minutes of the whole two hours..! Thats just nuts! Sometimes I seriously wonder how they do it!!!!! Now, I love playing and being with Kaylene, and I do that all day, every day. It is when you get to have like ten kids between 18 months and 3 years old, it can get hairy-scary! I know that you will be blessed beyond your belief by serving with a full heart of love for His children, and get some great experience for your own! I love you three so very much, and I cannot wait to meet #3 in less than 200 days! Hugs and Kisses, ~~~Jen
