Baby Shower

Had our baby shower yesterday. We got so much stuff and everything was wonderful. Tony and I had lots of fun.

The Pregnant Belly

Just thought I would share with everyone the growing belly. I am 29 weeks now, in the middle of my 7th month. Sleeping kind of sucks now, can't get comfortable and it feels like I am up every two hours to go pee. maybe thats how your body prepares you to get up at all hours of the night once the baby is born. . . lol! Other than that I am still feeling fine. The baby is kicking a lot, especially when I lay down.

touring the Hospital

Tony and I have set up a date to go tour the labour and delivery area of the hospital. We are going after our next Doc. Appt. on Oct. 26th. The Doctor also said that at this Doc. Appt. we could do another ultrasound to check on the sex of the baby. We have also signed up for a preparing for childbirth class for Nov. 21st. We are getting super excited. Had my glucose test this monday to check to see if I had Diabetes but everything looks good and my glucose levels are normal. I am looking forward to maternity leave. Hopefully the day before Thanksgiving will be my last day of work. I need a break, the long hours at work are getting to be to much, it is so hard to stay awake all night now and it is making it hard for me to focus on my school work. The baby is moving a lot now and seems to be kicking me directly into the bladder because I can be perfectly fine and then all of the sudden I feel like I have to pee like I have been holding it for an hour. I could have sworn the other day I felt the baby kick from the outside but Tony said he could not feel anything. Tony is getting very anxious, he wants to feel the baby move so bad.

23 week Doc. Appt.

Had Doc. Appt. today. Doctor said that the baby is growing normally and everything is going well. Got to hear the heartbeat, it was so cool. We are getting more and more excited as it gets closer and closer to the due date. We are going to be setting up an appointment to go on a tour of the labour and delivery part of the hospital.

Tony is an Elder

Tony received his Melchizedek Priesthood on Sunday. I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments. Now he will be able to give our baby a blessing when it's born and we are getting closer to our goal of being sealed together in the temple.

It's a GIRL!!! . . Maybe

Had an ultrasound yesterday and there best guess is that we are having a girl. The baby wasn't that cooperative though, kept it's legs closed and kept rolling around. It was amazing to see the baby move and we got to hear it's heartbeat. Tony and I are very excited and super happy.

Think the baby is moving. Stomach feels a little funny at times, like I got butterflies movin' around in there. 

Baby Update

Had a doctors appt. today and everything is going well. The doctor has scheduled an ultrasound for the next appt. so then we will be able to find out if we will be having a boy or a girl.

Day off

Relaxing today on my day off playing with Blue and Bandit. Just finished two more classes on Friday and am now half way to completing my associates degree in Psychology. I am glad I am finally finished with all of my math classes.

Melchizedek Priesthood

Tony has his final interview with the Branch President next Sunday to get his Melchizedek Priesthood. Then he will have an appointment with the Stake President. The Branch President says Tony will be able to receive his Priesthood by Stake Conference in the middle of next month. We are so excited. Not only will we have the blessing of having the priesthood in our home but we are one step closer to being sealed together in the Temple. The Branch President is trying real hard to help us get ready to go to the temple before the baby is born so that the baby will be born into the covenant and be sealed with us for eternity. 

Today was also a very special day for me because today during fast and testimony meeting, Tony got up and bore his testimony and to top it off he even passed sacrament. I am so proud of him and his progress.

Promotion

Tony got a promotion at work. He now works as a yard hossler instead of a driver. He is also now in a salaried position rather than getting paid by the mile. It is a very good position. he is training this week and so far says that the job is very easy, next week he starts doing it by himself. It is nice because he never has to leave Stockton now which will come in very handy when the baby is born because he will be close to his car and can get to the hospital quicker.

Callings

Tony and I have been called to be nursery leaders at church. This is Tony's first calling and my second. I am also on the enrichment committee for Relief Society. We are very excited. Tony has also been given his first person to home teach, it just happens to be my friend Kim. Tony is very close to receiving his Melchizedek Priesthood and we are working with the Branch President right now to try and get Temple recommends so that we can receive our endowments and be sealed together before the baby is born. We are very excited about everything that is happening in our lives and are very happy to be extending our family with a new baby.

Daddy-to-be

Daddy-to-be Is super excited about becoming a father. For the first time in our marriage he gets mad if I go shopping without him because he wants to pick out baby stuff too!! Normally he wants me to drop him off at Harbor Freight Tools first and then go shopping by myself. HA! HA! He has been working extra hard, working six days a week so we can save up money and hopefully buy a home by the time the baby arrives. He is looking forward to being able to bless the baby after it is born and already has big dreams for his baby. He too is a little nervous, as to be expected at doing something you have never done before. He is impatiently waiting to be able to feel or hear his baby move in mommy's tummy. He constantly puts his ear to my stomach hoping to hear his baby.

Update! Update!

So far so good. Love being pregnant so far! Managed to evade the dreaded morning sickness all together and have been told if I haven't had any yet I probably wont get it at all. The one part of pregnancy I don't think I'm missing out on. So other than being more tired than normal and having to pee all the time I feel great. Hope it lasts the entire pregnancy.

Had my first ultrasound today, thought you'd like to see the pic's. I am 9 weeks 2 days according to the ultrasound and my official due date is December 24th.

We're having a baby

On April 30th Tony and I found out I was pregnant. We are so happy to be adding to our family. Tony is really hoping for a boy but I know he will be truly excited no matter what we have.
